Accurate Measurements of the Existing Openings

Once you sign the paperwork for you your new replacement windows we schedule a time for one of our skilled window installation technicians to visit your home to obtain accurate sizes of each of the window openings to be replaced prior to ordering and installation.

Our window measure tech is trained to measure the height and width in three distinct locations:


Width
Across at top of opening inside the rough opening form side to side.
Across the middle of the opening from side to side.
Across the bottom from side to side.

Height
At left side of opening from bottom inside the rough opening to top.
At the center of opening from bottom inside the rough opening to top.
At the right side of  opening from bottom inside the rough opening to top.
 

Final Review
Our window installation technician is also trained to review the details of the order including replacement window sash grid patterns, replacement window styles for each selected opening, the color of the replacement window and the trim. 

Any known rotten wood replacement needs are carefully reviewed and any other potential challenges, obstacles or issues are considered so that all of the correct materials will be available on the day of the scheduled job.

The technician can answer any additional questions you may have about the installation process and you can learn any additional information that was not covered during your initial consultation.
